Working With Genealogy Show Promoters

We here at Archive CD Books are glad to work with family history societies, libraries and other history and genealogy based organizations. In keeping with our aims of “everyone wins – nobody loses” we are always looking for opportunities to support Canadian organizations promoting an interest in Canadian history ond / or genealogy.:

British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa – September 2004

BIFHSGO holds a very popular annual convention every September in the impressive surroundings of the National Library and Archives of Canada. This year we provided a display of a sample of the over 1600 CD titles for sale as a part of their vendors “marketplace.” This provided the attendees of the conference a chance to review some of our products and to get a real feel for the depth and breadth of our extensive catalogue of useful books on CD.

In return for providing the staff to man the display Archive CD Books Canada was glad to donate a portion of the proceeds of all sales made at the conference to BIFHSGO to help them with the exciting list of projects they are pursuing.

The logistics of this type of opportunity may make it difficult for us to support your Family History societies meetings but we have many other ways in which we can help your society while you help us.
